Goalie Limits
Quote from Justin on October 5, 2026, 4:43 pmJust got destroyed that week cause I didn’t reach goalie limits with the week starting on Tuesday / most teams barely playing. Maybe something to look at next year. Not a fun start.

Quote from Chris on October 5, 2026, 6:37 pmNot a big deal to me and im also fine with whatever majority wants.
But my opinion is that Caps' situation is the downside of rolling with not much goalie depth. He has 3 healthy goalies and 1 goalie hurt in IR+. So yeah, itd be hard to get to a 4 goalie minimum with that.
As for my team, I got 8 goalie starts last week and yes, me having 6 healthy goalies helped with that.
I probably wouldnt vote in favor of decreasing goalie minimum start because, for example if my team was playing Caps, Caps would have more skaters than me. Which is an advantage. But if he doesnt have to worry about the minimum goalie starts, its a bigger advantage.
My opinion, when you roll with less goalies, its the risk you take. The upside is you have more skaters and scorers than other teams. But the downside is that some weeks, it might be tough to hit the goalie minimum.
Because hitting the goalie minimum is a big deal, its why I like having so much goalie depth and ive also noticed other teams rolling with 6 goalies too haha.
But like I said, just my opinion. Not trying to slam Justin and his strategy. Just saying I think its part of the game in figuring out how you want your roster to be goalie wise.
