Clarification for rules at start of the FA Draft

Alright guys, so as some of you know, we had a bit of drama in our baseball league at the FA Draft this past February over whether players, who were hurt but lose their DTD or IR status and are now healthy, can remain stashed in IR spots during the FA Draft.

Baseball league decided that the rule on this would be that at the start of the FA Draft, all healthy players need to be in roster spots, that they can't be stashed in IR spots. The majority was in favor of this because guys liked the idea of more quality players available in the FA Draft.

So we are going to do the same thing going forward in hockey league. Here is how it will work.

The 2026 FA Draft starts Friday morning, September 25. The deadline to make sure all healthy players have roster spots will be Thu Sep 24 at 1159pm west coast time.

While the FA Draft is going on, every time a team posts their FA draft pick, I will check the team's roster to make sure that there's no players in IR spots that have become healthy. If I do see a healthy player, I'll text the team that they need to open space for the healthy player and have 3 hours to do it. It'll be like the team is on the clock.

If anybody has any questions about how these rules work, let me know!
