What is still unresolved aside from the start date?
Originally we were scheduled to open trades and resigns next Fri Aug 29.
As far as opening trades earlier, we can do that if everybody is fine with it.
But there's one team that is still deciding something and is not ready for us to open trades yet. This team could be ready as soon as tomorrow, but it's possible they might need more time. Basically, we're waiting until this one team is ready.
But also, we can't open trades until rule change proposals are done.
So we have to decide on whether we're going to vote on installing a prospect draft lottery for next season
The team that told me he wanted to hold off on opening trades is now ready. So once we resolve what we're doing with the draft lottery, we can open trades. Maybe we open trades Saturday if we get a resolution
